Independence Holiday

Mood: great

Hello to my family, relatives and friends there in PII hope everything is well at your end. My warm greetings also to my family (inlaws )and to all my friends here, i hope that you had a nice holiday yesterday

The photos were taken yesterday when Brad and Tonya invited us to their place. We just walked going there since it was a nice day and to burn some of our calories tooanyway their place is just few blocks away, we are in the same subd. actuallytheir neighbor and friend Kirk with his gf Liza were there also. Grilled hotdogs, salads, beans, chips and dips, and mini chocolates cupcakes for deserts were greatwhile watching Mythbusters on Discovery channel and planned to see an action movie from Kirk but ended up watching "Shrek the third anyway, we walked home around 10:30pm and saw smokes allover the streets because of the fireworks, made me remember the New year in PI

On the other note, last Saturday we drove to Scott(hubby's friend) in Flint because his sister Stacy was in town from Florida. Stacy is also an old friend of hubby(since they were teens) I think they were all happy to see each other again and i am glad that i met her also

Scott had some fireworks and i was able to light 2 of them also, we just needed to quickly run away before they exploded

Dear Cleo,
That's nice to hear 'bout ur 4th of July celebration. Unfortunately for us this year, fireworks has never seen poppin' out in the sky. Some counties in our State (including ours) was under a ban order from the State Governor......NO FIREWORKS due to extreme dried hot days. It seems like we were having a drought over here. Anyway, I enjoyed lookin' @ ur slides. Our 4th turned out great as well. We spent it picnicking close to the water and my Dale with the kids got the grill goin........

Florida is quite far from us though if u look at the map, it seems like were closer. It took us 5hrs to get to our destination. Anyway, thanks for asking and I hope u have one great Sat. Was the weather brutal where u're at? It's been drizzling over here for 2days now. C U later gator, and u both tc.

Cleo, kumusta ka na dyan? I really enjoyed the slideshow of your 4th of July. Ours was ok. They ended up doing something in the house. Illigal kasi dito sa IL ang mga papotok. By the way, malapit ka nang mag one year dito sa U.S. I will never forget it. Take care dear and enjoy your summer.
